How private do you want it

Three ways to take the place over

Every option below is a private booking. Nobody outside your group is in your session. The only question is how much of the venue you want, and for how long.

Smaller groups

A private session

Your group gets the arena to itself for your booked session. Up to eight players in at once, everyone in the same world, nobody else on the floor.

Good for one session, up to 8 players
Most requested

Back-to-back sessions

We run your group through in waves while the rest eat, watch the spectator screens and talk trash from the lobby. Rotate teams, run a bracket, crown a winner.

Good for groups too big for one session
The full takeover

Whole venue buyout

The arena, the escape rooms, the private room and the lobby games, all of it closed to the public and reserved for your group for the block you book. Big space does not mean you need a big group. If you want the building to yourself, ask.

Good for anyone who wants the place to themselves
Who books us out

One arena, a lot of reasons to take it over

The setup is the same. What changes is the tone, the timing and the food. Tell us which of these you are and we will shape it.

Corporate events

Quarterly socials, client entertaining, holiday parties, sales kickoffs and end-of-project celebrations. A private room with big screens if you need to say a few words first.

Plan a corporate event →

Team building

An objective nobody can carry alone. Communication under pressure, in the dark, with the clock running. It sorts out who actually listens, and it does it in an hour.

Plan a team building day →

Group game nights

Friend groups, gaming crews, fantasy leagues and anyone who has run out of ideas that are not a bar. Take the place over on a Friday instead of going to a bar again.

Associations & clubs

Chambers, professional associations, alumni chapters, networking groups and member socials. Something people actually turn up for and remember afterwards.

Milestone & adult birthdays

Thirtieths, fortieths, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and any birthday group too big for a standard package. Smaller kids' parties are handled here.

Schools, teams & youth groups

Sports teams, church and youth groups, robotics and esports clubs, and end-of-season celebrations. Ages 8 and up, no athletic ability required.

Why this and not bowling

Nobody can quietly opt out of a free-roam arena

Most group activities let people hide. One person bowls, five people look at their phones. Free-roam VR does not work like that. Everyone is physically in the same 1,600 sq ft space, on comms, moving, with one shared objective and a scoreboard.

It also rewires who gets listened to for an hour. The arena hands out information unevenly on purpose, so the person who can see the threat is the person calling it, whatever their title is. The org chart stops being the routing table because the game is not using it.

  • No athletic ability required. If you can walk and hold a controller, you can play.
  • Nobody sits out. Up to eight in the arena together, the rest watching live on the spectator screens.
  • It is genuinely hard. Teams that do not talk to each other lose. Communication is the mechanic, not a side effect.
  • It ends with a story. People retell the wipe on the last wave for months. Nobody retells a round of mini golf.

What you get

The venue, not just the game

A private booking is not only arena time. Here is everything that comes with the building when your group has it.

The free-roam arena1,600 sq ft of real game space, roughly three quarters of a tennis court. Untethered headsets, full body tracking, no wires and no pods to stand in.
Private room, seats 14Big screens with HDMI and wireless casting. Run a presentation, do the awards, feed people, then go play.
Spectator & scoreboard TVsThe lobby watches every player's point of view and hears their comms. Live scores, positions and who is about to get eaten.
Catering, arrangedPizza, tacos, sushi and more. Tell us the headcount and any dietary needs and we handle the ordering and timing.
13 free-roam titlesZombie outbreaks, sci-fi firefights, co-op puzzles and competitive team modes. We help you pick the right one for your group.
VR escape roomsTeams of up to five, about 45 minutes. A good second track for large groups rotating through the arena.
Lobby gamesPing pong, foosball and air hockey, so the people waiting for their wave are not standing around.
A game master on your groupSomeone runs your event start to finish. Gear fitting, the safety brief, the rotation and the scores. You do not manage anything.
Planning it

Four steps and it is off your plate

Tell us the basics

Date or date range, rough headcount, and what the occasion is. That is genuinely all we need to start.

We come back with a plan

Within one business day. Availability, how we would run the rotation, which games suit your group, and food options.

Lock the date

We hold the venue for your block. Invoicing, W-9 and a certificate of insurance are all available if your company needs them.

Show up

Your game master takes it from the door. Gear, brief, rotation, scores and the trash talk afterwards.

Request your date

Tell us what you are planning

No pricing calculators and no instant quote, because a 12-person team offsite and a 40-person holiday party are not the same event. Send us the shape of it and we will come back within one business day with availability and a real plan.

Before you ask

The questions every planner asks us

How many people can you actually handle?
Eight players are in the arena at once. That is the number people get wrong most often, so here it is plainly. Bigger groups do not all play together, they run in back-to-back waves while the rest eat, watch the spectator screens or take on a VR escape room as a second track. The private room seats 14. Tell us your headcount and we will tell you honestly how it would flow, including if we think you are too big for one evening.
How long should we block out?
A single free-roam session runs about an hour door to door including gear and the brief. A group of 20 needs roughly three waves plus eating time, so plan on a few hours rather than one. We will give you a real start-to-finish window once we know your numbers, and we will hold a hard stop so nothing runs over.
What if some of our people can't or won't play?
That is normal and it is fine. Non-players are not stuck in a corner. The lobby has spectator screens showing every player's view and hearing their comms, plus a live scoreboard, ping pong, foosball and air hockey. Plenty of people have more fun watching the wipeout than playing it.
Does anyone get motion sick?
Almost nobody. Since Zero Latency changed headsets in November 2016, 0.02% of players have pulled out due to motion sickness. Free-roam is different from seated VR because you physically walk, so what your eyes see and what your body feels agree with each other. There is no artificial locomotion. Anyone who does feel off can step out at any moment.
Is it accessible? Do people need to be fit?
No athletic ability is needed. If you can walk unassisted and hold a controller, you can play, and the arena floor is flat and open. Being straight with you though, the experience is generally not suitable for players who are pregnant, need assistance with mobility, are deaf or hearing impaired, are blind, or have a heart condition. That is worth knowing before you plan a whole-team event. Those guests are not shut out of the evening: the lobby has live spectator screens, the scoreboard, the private room and the games. Tell us who is coming in the form and we will talk it through properly rather than leaving anyone to find out on the night.
What's the minimum age?
Ages 8 and up for the free-roam arena, and there is a minimum height requirement, so check with us if you are bringing younger kids. Mixed-age groups are common. If you are bringing a school, sports team or youth group, mention the age range in the form so we can steer you to the right titles, since a good part of the library is zombies and horror.
Can we eat here? Can you handle dietary needs?
Yes. We arrange catering rather than making you coordinate it. Pizza, tacos, sushi and other options. Give us the headcount and any allergies or dietary requirements in the form and we will build it into the timing so the food lands when your group is out of the arena, not mid-session.
Can we do a presentation or a speech first?
Yes. The private room seats 14 and has big screens with HDMI and wireless casting. Run your slides, do the awards, hand out the recognition, then send everyone into the arena. Most corporate bookings use it exactly that way.
Do you invoice? Can we get a W-9 or a COI?
Yes to all three. We regularly work with finance and procurement teams. Invoicing, a W-9 and a certificate of insurance are available on request. Flag it in your inquiry and we will have the paperwork ready rather than holding your booking up at the end.
What does it cost?
It depends on your headcount, how long you want the venue, whether you want food, and whether you want a private session or the whole building. That is why there is no price list on this page. Send the form and you will get a real number for your actual event, not a starting-from figure that changes later.
What about parking?
Free on-site parking at 8206 Philips Hwy, Unit 27. Large groups arriving at once are not a problem. If you are bringing a bus or a van, tell us and we will make sure it is straightforward on the day.
What if we need to move or cancel the date?
Talk to us early and we will do what we can to move you rather than lose you. Specific terms depend on the size of the booking and how close to the date you are, and they are confirmed in writing before you commit to anything. Nothing is buried in fine print.
